Miami has been well known for their contributions to the music industry for years, keeping with that tradition of feel good party music comes UmHollywood. Hailing from Broward County, Florida and already being considered as “The next best thing coming out of Florida since Rick Ross or Flo-Rida” by well known DJ Chap (Trunkbeastas Records) from Atlanta, UmHollywood mixes his styles completely to keep his audience enticed and wanting more.

His music can only be described as an eclectic blend of R&B, Hip-Hop and Dance music which shows his versatility as an artist and ability to always recreate himself with each song. Influenced by Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers and Uncle Luke in his early stages of forming his craft UmHollywood is definitely ready to show the world that he is not the average musician. He also worked with such artists as The Psyclones, Platinum Touch, Red Traxx Music Inc., Rude Boi of Git Fresh, Train and Jason Derulo. He has received rave reviews by Tayste Magazine during “Bass Fest 09” in Palm Beach, FL after performing on the 99 Jamz stage at the Martin Luther King parade in Miami.  He was also an important feature at this year’s 2010 Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale’s “Feel the Groove Hip-Hop and Fashion Show Concert”. He has opened for artists such as 2live Crew, 69 Boys, Splack Pack, Git Fresh, Brisco and Flo-Rida. He is also currently supported by some of the industry’s elite such as  L & J Management, Anthony “Big Amp” Parker, DJ Chap, Tayste Magazine, Git Fresh, Fashion Designer Ivo Defranschi, Studio Monkeys, The Psyclones, Platinum Touch, Red Traxx Music Inc. and Kia Kai Entertainment Group. 

UmHollywood is out to achieve longevity in the music industry. When asked how he plans to make sure that he can achieve this long-term goal his answer is simple “By surrounding myself with the right advisors and influential people that will give me the guidance to help me achieve my long term goals.” He is currently working on the release of his new single “She Luv It” which he intends to make just as strong an impact as his current single “I Love My Haters” which has been buzzing in the streets and clubs of South Florida. With his unique style of rapping, singing and fashion UmHollywood is sure to be the next trend setting artist to emerge out of the Sunshine State.
